Levi Strauss arrived in San Fransisco in 1853 to open a wholesale dry goods business, selling clothing, blankets, handkerchiefs etc. to small general stores throughout the American West. Levi now sell much more than Jeans, they alose sell T-Shirts, Jackets, Shorts and Skirts.
